Whether you are just graduating, looking to start your first career, transitioning into a new career or re-entering the workforce, we all look for opportunities to pursue our passions and discover new ones. Becoming a real estate professional could be the next step of your career journey in an industry that is open to all and where no two days are the same. The opportunities for growth paired with independence and flexibility in an exciting industry are just some of the benefits of a career in real estate.

Variety in the day-to-day

No two days are the same when you have something different scheduled in your calendar from one day to the next. Of course, as a real estate professional you will continually work with clients to list and/or show properties, but each person is unique and has different needs and wants and different properties can address those needs and wants in a variety of ways, which brings variety to your day-to-day.

Flexibility and independence

You’ll have the opportunity to build your own schedule and work outside the limits of a typical Monday to Friday, nine-to-five job. When you have the flexibility to control your own schedule, it’s unlikely you’ll find yourself counting the minutes to the end of the workday with your newfound independence and lifestyle.

Diverse and welcoming profession

In order to apply for the Real Estate Salesperson Program in Ontario, you need a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent and the desire to work with people. Don’t put off making a career change or looking for growth opportunities and build a career in real estate.

A growth-oriented profession

As you meet with all kinds of people and begin your journey in the profession you will find that there are a lot of opportunities for personal and professional growth. There is no shortage of opportunity in real estate where you can apply your skills and gain new ones.
