In order to become a registered insurance broker in Ontario, individuals must pass the RIBO licensing exam. The Insurance Institute of Canada administers the exam on behalf of the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO). The entry-level examination allows individuals to provide insurance services under the supervision of a senior broker.
